You can explore without an account.

The click quiz works without optional analytics or marketing permission. Personal answers are not public product ratings. Choosing voice, a server save or a retailer handoff adds the specific processing described at that step.

Your privacy choices & requests

You can request access, a copy, correction or deletion of your information, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. Write to privacy@somni.fit. Start with the request type and the email used with Somni; do not send medical records, passwords, payment details or identity documents.

We verify requests proportionately, using the original account or browser when possible. If we need more information, we explain why. An authorized agent may contact us with evidence of permission. We respond within the period required by applicable law, explain any lawful limitation or extension, and explain how to appeal. To appeal, reply with “Privacy appeal” and the request reference; we provide a reasoned response and the relevant regulator’s contact where required. We do not penalize you for exercising privacy rights.

For browser analytics, use Privacy choices below. Private server history has its own delete button. Removing a device profile, deleting a server record and revoking a retailer share are separate actions. If a feature does not provide the deletion control you need, contact us. If a retailer independently holds a copy, we help identify the right business and notify recipients as required by law.

What we collect, and why

The feature you use determines what Somni receives:

  • Quiz on this device: sleep positions, body measurements or ranges, comfort, discomfort and shopping preferences build a fitting estimate in your browser. Device drafts and saved profiles use browser storage. They are sent to Somni only when you choose a disclosed server feature.
  • Optional saved or AI features: selected answers, fit estimates, recommendations, preference changes and any information you voluntarily include in a conversation. Voice sends microphone audio to OpenAI and syncs a temporary encrypted quiz draft. Somni does not store raw quiz audio or captions on its server. Provider processing and retention are separate.
  • Accounts and contact: sign-in identity, name, email, verification status and a phone number only where you supply it for a stated feature. Sending a verification code does not subscribe you to marketing.
  • Store assessments: an authorized retailer may import names, sleeper positions, coordinates, pressure readings, associate identifiers and other fields in a REVEAL export. Live store assessment intake and profile delivery are held until Somni has reviewed that location’s agreement, guest-permission workflow and retention responsibilities. A signed-in account or demo is not activation. Only provide information for people who have authorized the assessment and import.
  • Business users: business name, website, role, location, verification and review evidence, store settings, catalog data and account activity support onboarding and retailer administration. We do not ask for identity documents in the business-demo form.
  • Technical information: hosting and security services receive requests, IP addresses, browser information and authentication, abuse-prevention or error records needed to operate and protect the service. Optional analytics are described separately below.

We do not need your date of birth, government ID, photograph, precise GPS location or medical records for mattress discovery. Our illustrated avatar comes from quiz inputs; it is not a camera scan or an identity-verification biometric. ZIP is used for shopping context; it does not establish verified delivery coverage.

How information is used and shared

We use information to deliver the fitting or account feature you request, secure the platform, respond to requests, maintain product evidence and resolve service problems. We do not use private discomfort disclosures or pressure maps to target advertising or train a Somni model in this release. We do not sell personal information or use third-party advertising pixels.

Service providers process information needed for their functions: Sites/Cloudflare for application hosting, database and file storage; OpenAI for selected AI, voice and sign-in features; Google Workspace for business email; and Twilio SendGrid for requested verification and limited shortlist emails. Configured Twilio/HighLevel messaging integrations receive the contact and message information needed only when the relevant messaging workflow is enabled and authorized. Availability of a connector does not mean a message has been sent.

Approved retailer staff can access their own authorized store assessments and the limited summaries a shopper explicitly shares. Retailer demo access alone grants no customer access. A manufacturer or matching email domain does not grant access. Retailers acting independently have their own notices and responsibilities. Catalog providers such as Shopify or WooCommerce do not receive a personal quiz merely because their catalog is connected.

An external product link opens another business’s site. A referral link can contain campaign or click identifiers, but does not include your private fit answers, phone number or private profile link. Approved affiliate links may identify Somni as the publisher; the seller or affiliate network may receive normal web-request information and apply its own cookies, attribution and privacy policy. This does not send the quiz answers. Somni’s optional analytics choice controls Somni measurement, not the destination’s independent practices. We may disclose limited records if required by law, to address security or legal claims, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. We do not share customer records with another Omniguild brand for its marketing.

Cookies, optional analytics and browser privacy signals

Essential browser storage supports drafts, sign-in, ownership, security and choices you make. Optional analytics start off unless you expressly enable them. There is no entry popup and no age confirmation needed just to browse or complete the click quiz. The optional analytics feature is offered to adults; declining it gives the same fitting results.

Opted-in measurement uses a first-party browser identifier, campaign sources, general page groups, quiz milestones, broad step-completion and time buckets, device-size groups, voice connection status, product interactions, saving/sharing actions, structured page feedback, shopping-link events and a coarse ZIP area. We do not capture screens, keystrokes, clicks on body regions, individual answers, transcripts, full URLs or replay sessions. It does not include names, contact details, body measurements, discomfort answers, conversation text or links to private fit snapshots. Campaign and click identifiers are pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity. If enabled on the retailer site, optional measurement also counts which business tools are opened and onboarding milestones. These product-improvement reports are restricted to Somni platform administrators; retailer access does not expose another business’s usage. We do not connect browsing identifiers to account identities or guest records.

Retailer reports show relevant grouped activity, suppress groups smaller than ten browsers and round counts. They are not a list of customer profiles or proof of a sale. Raw optional measurement expires after 30 days; expired records are excluded and removed in batches during service use. Turning measurement off erases measurement associated with this browser’s active identifier. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep it off. Settings and identifiers are browser- and domain-specific, so repeat your choice on another browser or device.

Somni does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, we will provide the notices and choices required before introducing it. Ordinary browsing or agreement to general terms is not permission for sensitive-data processing or marketing.

Optional shortlist email and store QR

After saving, you may request one email with your selected product names, exact sizes, review flags, optional selected setup products and a QR to the same limited copy. A store plan may also contain your comparison budget, a selected public retailer directory and a general visit checklist; it can be saved without selected products. This is planning information, not a price quote or a verified product recommendation. First we verify the receiving address with a six-digit code. This does not start a marketing subscription or contact a retailer. Names, body measurements, FitGrid coordinates, personal fit scores, discomfort answers, voice and private profile links are excluded from this email flow. Your email address and the limited copy are processed by Somni’s hosting service and Twilio SendGrid for delivery. Open and click tracking are disabled in these messages.

The encrypted delivery request and code expire after ten minutes. Expired requests cannot be verified and are removed in bounded batches when the email service is used; this is not a promise of immediate physical deletion at expiry. Queued, failed and cancelled requests clear their stored recipient and copy. Minimal hashed request and abuse-prevention records may remain until cleanup. The ownership cookie lasts 30 minutes. The email provider and your mailbox have their own retention rules.

Use “Stop shortlist emails” in a message to prevent further shortlist emails to that address without signing in. We retain a keyed address hash to honor this choice; essential verification and account-security messages are separate. An already queued message may still arrive. Contact privacy@somni.fit for help or a change to this choice. New store QR codes and downloads contain shopping choices, size, comparison budget and checklist only; they exclude personal fit scores and FitGrid coordinates as well as names, contacts, body details and conversations. Anyone holding a portable copy can read it. It has no remote expiry or revocation; deleting a browser profile cannot recall an email or copied link. Older copies already distributed may contain fields the shopper previously included. This update cannot retrieve or erase those copies. The current saved-copy page removes those fields when generating a new copy. If direct delivery is unavailable, opening your own mail app is a separate choice and uses that app’s delivery and privacy practices.

Sleep setup suggestions and affiliate links

Selected categories, fabric, material and temperature-system preferences refine everyday accessory suggestions. Refinements are saved on this browser for up to 30 days, with expiry checked when read, and are removed with the related saved device profile. They do not change the mattress fit score. A shared shortlist includes selected product identifiers, not these preference answers.

Suggestions use manufacturer specifications and shopping preferences, not a diagnosis, product test or a guarantee of all-night cooling. Any active commission relationship is disclosed near shopping links. Approved affiliate URLs identify Somni as the publisher and do not include customer answers or private-profile identifiers. Coupons and retailer visit rewards require separate authorization and are not active by default. Firmly checkout is not connected in this release; no private quiz information or payment details are sent to it.

Private bed check-ins and store outcomes

You can choose a short private check-in after trying or using a mattress. It records the exact model and size if known, trial or home experience, days used if known, surface feel, ease of turning, temperature, an optional note, and a return or exchange reason and replacement when relevant. Two sleepers keep separate answers. Unknown answers remain unknown. Please leave out diagnoses, contact details and payment information.

The standalone check-in stays in this browser for up to 30 days per note, with expiry checked when read, and keeps at most 20 notes. Use its remove control to delete a note sooner. A check-in made from a device-only profile stays with that profile and has the same per-note limit; deleting the profile removes its attached notes. Other people using the same browser may see them. If browser storage is blocked, the page explains that notes may stay only in the open tab. Downloaded copies are separate and cannot be recalled by deleting browser records.

For an activated protected store session, your separate save choice adds encrypted feedback to that session, visible to the authorized store team. Staff may separately record the model, variant, store order reference, completed purchase, return or exchange and a limited reason. These are customer or staff reports; an order reference alone does not verify a purchase or establish a provider-confirmed transaction. Store feedback and operational records follow the retention and request process below. No live transaction-provider feed is connected by this feature.

Private notes are not published, copied into reviews, used to train a model, or used to change recommendation scores automatically. A public review is a separate choice offered regardless of sentiment. Calendar reminders are generic files you choose to download and add; they schedule no email or text and do not track retailer trial deadlines. Saving feedback does not contact a retailer, request or approve a return, subscribe you to messages, or change a retailer’s policy.

Public product reviews

If you choose to submit a product review, Somni stores your account identifier, exact catalog model, self-reported version, rating, experience type, time used, material-connection disclosure, text, consent version and dates. This is separate from your private quiz and optional analytics. We do not import your body, discomfort or voice answers into a review. Your email and account name are not shown. Review text and context you approve become public only after policy moderation. Please leave out private or health information.

Review content is encrypted in application storage. Authorized Somni moderators can read submissions; retailer accounts cannot moderate them. Approved text is publicly readable and may be copied by others. One account can maintain one review per model; sign-in does not verify a purchase. No review incentives or third-party review imports are active. Review reports and minimal moderation records help address abuse and appeals. Read the review rules.

Edit or withdraw your review through the model page after signing in. Withdrawal removes the live review and its reports; it cannot recall copies made elsewhere. Public reviews remain until withdrawal, a documented policy removal, or a privacy request. Unpublished submissions may remain while review or appeal is pending; contact us for deletion. Minimal audit records contain action, account identifier, reason code, review reference and date, not the review text; they expire after one year with cleanup during review-service use. Account-wide requests can be sent to privacy@somni.fit. We do not publish private feedback without this separate choice.

Retention, deletion and security
  • Device records: quiz drafts expire after 24 hours without a new save; saved device profiles and retailer application drafts after 30 days without a new save. Expired records are removed when Somni next opens or reads them. You can remove a saved device profile sooner. Other people using the same browser may see a local save.
  • Private fit snapshots: encrypted server versions are accessible for up to 30 days through the original browser’s ownership cookie. Use “Delete private server history” to remove them sooner. Expired owners and snapshots are cleaned in batches when snapshots are created.
  • Voice quiz: the encrypted synchronized draft expires after 24 hours. Expired rows are removed in batches when new voice sessions start. Ending the call stops the conversation; it does not immediately delete the draft or local quiz copy.
  • Saved consultations and handoffs: consultation access normally expires after 30 days. Pending import invitations and retailer shares have the shorter expiry shown when created. Consultation deletion removes the related live profile, leads, consents and shares in Somni’s application. Revoking a share prevents future access through that share; it cannot recall a copy already lawfully received.
  • Store files, accounts and operational records: an assessment link’s 30-day expiry is an access limit, not a promise that the retailer’s raw XML or all operational records are automatically deleted. Business applications, store assessments, imported files, audit and messaging records may persist until deletion is requested or the operational purpose ends, subject to legal and security requirements. Contact us for the affected store or account; we identify and remove applicable records and instruct processors as required. We retain only what is needed for a valid legal or security exception.

We use authorization checks, limited access, encryption for protected stored records, secure transport and abuse limits. No system is perfectly secure. Deleted live records may remain temporarily in provider recovery copies subject to applicable deletion requirements; they are not used for ordinary processing. We assess security incidents and notify affected people and authorities when legally required. Do not include confidential information in public catalog fields or support messages.

Age, location and changes to this policy

Personalized saved, voice and retailer-sharing services are intended for adults 18 or older; public educational pages do not ask for age or identity documents. We do not offer a child account or knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Do not use another person’s sensitive information without their authorization. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact us so we can investigate, restrict processing and delete it as required. An adult-attestation checkbox is not age verification or a substitute for parental consent where required.

Somni currently focuses on US mattress discovery. Providers may process information in the United States and other places where they operate. This policy does not waive rights that apply where you live. If we materially change information categories, purposes or recipients, we update this policy and provide additional notice and consent where required. The effective date appears above.
