Commission amounts, affiliate approval, retailer subscriptions, sponsorship and review stars do not enter personal fit scores or product recommendation ordering. Your preferences and the available product evidence determine suitability. Your chosen budget filters options; it does not earn a bed a higher score.

Default mattress ordering follows the exact personal fit score. For two sleepers who answered the same pressure-frequency question differently, equal shared scores first favor the better individual fit for the person reporting pressure more often. This is a trial-order tie-break, not a pain-severity assessment or a score bonus. A reviewed store display can then break a remaining tie. Choosing a firmness direction or a construction filter changes what you browse, not the scores. Missing specifications stay unknown; we do not fill a shelf by inventing a 90+ match.

Somni covers a curated catalog, not every bed sold. Evidence, permissions, exact sizes and available retailers limit coverage. We may earn affiliate commissions and charge retailers for business tools. Those relationships must be disclosed; they cannot buy a fit score, a favorable review or a higher recommendation position. No paid product placement is mixed into the recommendation shelves.

Find your fit. Then feel it for yourself.

For mattresses and adjustable bases, our shopping routes are for retailers with source-reviewed physical stores, including their websites. A brand may sell direct and through shops; we check the actual seller’s store presence rather than treating every online brand as a store.

Before traveling, confirm the exact model, comfort version and current display with that location. A retailer having stores is not proof the product is on your nearest floor. Delivery eligibility is separate too. If a visit is practical for you, use your usual positions and compare a suitable pillow and base. If travel or store access is difficult, ask the retailer for a remote consultation and clear trial, delivery and return terms.

Trying a bed can help you assess its feel. Somni has not established that its quiz or a store visit reduces return rates. The seller’s current policies govern purchases, fees, warranties and exchanges. Accessories may come from appropriate direct-to-consumer brands when they help complete your setup.

Honest experiences deserve room.

Reader reviews are submitted directly to Somni, tied to a catalog model and the comfort version or year the author describes. We show the submission/update date, time with the product, and whether the author tried it in a store, used it at home, or returned it. These are self-reported experiences. Sign-in is an account check, not proof of purchase; purchase verification is not connected.

Published reviews appear most recently submitted or updated first, with older pages accessible. Updating a review returns it to moderation and temporarily removes its previous public copy. We show pending counts so you can see that the published set is incomplete. Old experiences stay dated; we do not silently treat them as reviews of a new model generation. No overall star average or review-derived FitGrid adjustment is used in this release.

All ratings enter the same policy queue, oldest updated submission first, with stars hidden from the moderation decision view. Favorable, mixed and critical reviews follow the same rules. Retailers cannot moderate reviews. Somni staff cannot moderate their own submission. Moderation is a policy check, not a guarantee that every statement is true.

We may hold a review for personal or confidential information, spam or duplication, evidence of no firsthand experience or a wrong model, abusive or unlawful content, or unsupported advertising. Disagreement, criticism, a return, a low score or lack of commission is not a removal reason. We do not rewrite a reviewer’s text. Authors can correct it, receive the reason in their account, or appeal to support@somni.fit with the review reference. We assess reports against these rules; reports do not automatically hide reviews.

We do not create fictional reviews, purchase favorable sentiment, condition benefits on a positive review, or ask only satisfied shoppers. Authors must disclose a free or discounted review product and business or family connections; those labels appear with the review. We do not claim a review is independent merely because its author has an account. Somni offers no review incentive in this release and does not import third-party stars or review text.

You keep ownership of your review. By choosing to publish, you give Somni a nonexclusive permission to store, moderate and display that submitted review for this feature. You can edit or withdraw it in your account. This permission does not assign ownership, permit unrelated advertising use, or prevent you from reviewing elsewhere. Honest criticism never forfeits service or consumer rights. Do not submit diagnoses, medical records, measurements, contact details or someone else’s private information.

A FitGrid that improves through evidence.

FitGrid is an explainable fitting estimate, not a medical test. Support, pressure relief and temperature are separate characteristics. Price, popularity and commission are not evidence of support, cooling or durability. A manufacturer claim is not a Somni laboratory measurement.

Public specifications, measured assessments and customer experiences remain separate records. Product assessment changes require source review and a version; earlier estimates remain distinguishable. Review stars do not automatically move a mattress or a person on the grid. Any future learning from private outcomes needs a defined purpose, appropriate permission, representative validation and human review before deployment.

For two sleepers, we retain both needs and use the lower individual fit for a shared mattress. No midpoint hides an unsuitable fit. Where evidence is insufficient, we say so. We still need independent validation and voluntary follow-up outcomes before claiming predictive accuracy or reduced returns.
